Jennifer Baur, M.D.
Dr. Baur is a graduate of Louisiana State University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology also at Louisiana State University School of Medicine. As the mother of two children herself, Dr. Baur says she easily relates to the patients under her care. "I've been through most of what they are experiencing and I think that has made me a better physician for them." She was drawn to OB/GYN as a specialty because it allowed her to practice a very personalized type of primary care medicine combined with the more specialized areas such as deliveries and surgery. Today, she is proud to be part of a practice where her colleagues share her commitment to personalized care.
Stephen Champlin, M.D.
Dr. Champlin completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Tulane University at Charity Hospital. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a diplomat of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a member of the Louisiana State Medical Society and the Greater New Orleans Obstetrics and Gynecology Society. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at LSU Health Science Center and a Clinical Faculty Member for East Jefferson Family Practice Residency Program. Areas of special interest include minimally invasive surgery and Robotic surgery. He is married with two adolescent children.
John Hevron, M.D.
Dr. Hevron is a graduate of the Tulane University School of Medicine. A native New Orleanian he did his postgraduate training at Emory University in Atlanta and Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center in Denver. He has served as President of the Greater New Orleans and the Jefferson Obstetrics and Gynecology Societies. Recently he completed a three-year term as Chairman of the Louisiana Section of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has over 30 years experience providing comprehensive Obstetrical and Gynecological care to the women of the Greater New Orleans area.
David Hoerner, M.D.
Dr. Hoerner is a graduate of Louisiana State University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Charity Hospital in New Orleans. Dr. Hoerner is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and has been in practice for over 22 years. He has special interest in treating abnormal pap smears, colposcopy, as well as general maternity care and minimally invasive surgery.
Traci Iwamoto, M.D.
Dr. Iwamoto was born in Iowa City, Iowa and graduated from the University of Iowa in Biomedical Engineering. Dr. Iwamoto attended the University of New Mexico School of Medicine and completed her residency in OB/GYN at Louisiana State University Health Science Center in New Orleans. She chose OB/GYN because she loves everything about the practice. She especially enjoys the continuity of care with patients and appreciates the devoted clinic time, deliveries, and the operating room and procedures. Dr. Iwamoto states “I admire women in how strong we are whether we are pregnant, being a mother, fighting cancer or studying and working hard – my patients always provide me inspiration!”
Bennie Nobles, M.D.
Bennie Nobles was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and graduated from Loyola University. Nobles received his Doctorate from LSU School of Medicine and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Charity Hospital, as well as, his service as Major in the United States Army Reserve during the same year. Dr. Nobles has served as both President of the Greater New Orleans OB/GYN Society and President of the Jefferson Parish Medical Society in the past. His current academia appointments include Clinical Associate Professor of OB/GYN and member of Ethics Faculty at LSU Health Sciences Center. He also serves on the Board of Members for LSU Health Sciences Center Foundation, LSUHSC Institute of Professional Education Board, LSU Medical School Alumni Association and LSU Medical School Alumni Association Committee of 100 and was most recently named Healthcare Hero by New Orleans Healthcare Magazine in 2015.
Geraldine St. Germain, M.D.
Dr. St. Germain is a Junior Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecology and is now returning home to Louisiana after practicing in Tennessee. When not practicing medicine, Dr. St. Germain enjoys cooking, weightlifting and spending time with her husband and two children.
Amanda N. Thomas, M.D.
Dr. Thomas was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. She received her Doctorate from Saint Louis University School of Medicine and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Louisiana State University Health Science Center as Chief Resident. She is a member of the American Medical Association and a Junior Fellow member of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologist.
Vicki C. Thiel, APRN, NP-C, BSN, MSN
Vicki Thiel received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Loyola University and her Master of Science in Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner from LSUMC Graduate School of Nursing. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner from ANCC and AANP. She has more than 15 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
