She has been employed at the Wellness Center since 2000 and is a member of the American Massage Council. Brenda Ducote

"I have a passion for sports and fitness. I love that our facility combines a sports atmosphere with overall wellness. This is the perfect combination for a disease management client or a fitness oriented client."

A drive and interest in fitness and sports sent Brenda to massage therapy school in 1995. In September 2009, she joined the Massage Therapy Services team at the Wellness Center. Brenda holds a BA from Loyola University and is a freelance writer.

She was also once employed by EJGH as a patient care technician where she gave bedside care and back massages, whenever possible. It was then that she saw a great need for human contact and hands-on care for bedridden patients. Brenda uses many techniques on her clients, depending on the individual's needs.
