Benefitting the Foundation at EJGH and the expansion of the Outpatient Oncology Infusion Center & The John Curtis Christopher Guillot Scholarship Fund
Christopher Guillot was a quiet, giving, caring and well-rounded athlete. He believed that working hard in a quiet and dedicated fashion, to the best of one's own ability, created the greatest good. Chris attended John Curtis Christian School from the 6th-12th grades and was truly the embodiment of the culture and values of the school. Through the years at Curtis, he excelled in both academics and athletics. He was a key member of three Curtis State Football Championship Teams and involved in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, an organization designed to bring students closer to God. Throughout the years, he was a member of Little Farms Playground and J.P.R.D where he enjoyed track, baseball, basketball and football.
Christopher was diagnosed in May 2009, the ending of his junior year, at the age of 17 years old with metastatic melanoma. He went through various cancer treatments and surgeries, but never complained. Chris was a true HERO in everyone's eyes that had the privilege of knowing him. Christopher Guillot lost his battle to cancer on March 24, 2010. Although his life was shortened by this illness, he lived life fully and in a way that can be considered a model for others.
Christopher's story is one of many. The purpose of this memorial fund is to provide education, knowledge, support, and to continue researching to find a cure for this deadly disease.
