Dr. Carol Anne Luttrell started at East Jefferson General Hospital in May of 2000, and was one of the founding partners of Radiology and Interventional Associates of Metairie. Dr. Luttrell has been the Director of EJGH Breast Care Center since its establishment in June of 2002.

The EJGH Breast Care Center is a state-of-the-art, full-service facility, proving comprehensive breast care with a multi-disciplinary approach. Through the nurse navigation program, the staff offers coordinated care at every stage from screening to diagnosis through treatment and survivorship. The importance of routine screening mammography in achieving the early detection of breast cancer cannot be stressed enough. Screening mammography has been shown to reduce the mortality of breast cancer by 30%.

Dr. Luttrell was born and raised in Virginia and moved to the area in 1993 with her husband, Dr. Henry L. Rosenberg, OB/GYN. She has previously served Tulane University Medical Center in the following roles as Radiology Residency Co-Program Director, Assistant Professor, Acting Head of Neuroradiology and Clinical Instructor.

In 2011, Dr. Luttrell was selected as a CityBusiness Women of the Year. Women of the Year honorees are awarded to 50 women from the Greater New Orleans area who have achieved success in business and made significant contributions to the community.
