Roland J. Bourgeois, Jr., MD, FACC
Roland J. Bourgeois is a graduate of Louisiana State University, School of Medicine. He completed is fellowship in Cardiology at Ochsner Foundation and Hospital. Dr. Bourgeois is board certified in Internal Medicine, board certified in Internal Medicine, Subspecialty in Cardiovascular Disease. He is also, credited by the Board of Internal Medicine with qualifications in Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Bourgeois is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He has also, proudly served as Chief of Staff for East Jefferson General Hospital.
Orlando Deffer, MD, FACC
Orlando Deffer is a graduate of Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriques Urena, Santo Domonican, Republic. He completed his fellowship at Tulane University School of Medicine. Dr. Deffer is board certified in Internal Medicine, Subspecialty in Cardiovascular Disease and the Subspecialty Board of Nuclear Cardiology. Additionally, he has Advanced Training in Noninvasive Cardiovascular Imaging. Dr. Deffer is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
Lois Mailander, MD, FACC
Lois Mailander is a graduate of University of Monterrey, Monterrey, Mexico with additional clinical training State University of New York at Stoney Brook. She completed her fellowship at Ochsner Foundation and Hospital. Dr. Mailander is board certified in Internal Medicine, board certified in Internal Medicine, Subspecialty in Cardiovascular Disease.
Nicholas D. Pappas, MD
Nicholas D. Pappas is a graduate of Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed his fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at Ochsner Foundation Hospital and Clinic. Dr. Pappas is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and further board certified in Internal Medicine, Subspecialty of Cardiovascular Disease.
James Perrien, MD
Dr. Perrien received his Doctorate from University of Alabama School of Medicine. He completed his fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease from University of North Carolina and also in Interventional Cardiology from Emory University. He is certified in echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and coronary angiography from the American College of Cardiology.
Gregory D. Tilton, MD, FACC
Gregory Dupuy Tilton is a graduate of Louisiana State Health Science Center in New Orleans, He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and his fellowship in cardiology at the University of Texas Southwestern associated with Parkland Hospital in Dallas. He has achieved board certification in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Interventional Cardiology, and Endovascular Medicine (medical and interventional treatment of peripheral vascular disease). In addition to being a reviewer for the Journal of the American College of cardiology and Circulation, he has been an invited editorialist for the Journal of the American College of Cardiology and the principal and assistant investigator on numerous research projects published in peer reviewed journals.
