Although the Sunshine Boutique is not the only enterprise taken on by the Auxiliary, it is one of the most successful. Prominently located in East Jefferson's main campus, just a few steps from the dining area, The Sunshine Boutique is a quaint, lovely escape from the usual frenetic pace of the hospital. Although the gift shop began as a book delivery service, books and magazines now make up only a portion of the sales at the Sunshine Boutique.

This eclectic shop runs the gamut and includes everything from New Orleans-inspired jewelry, to a veritable altar of LSU paraphernalia, to a number of life-sized, stuffed animals, to flowers, toiletries, games, candy and seasonal knick knacks. But, hands down, the best part about buying a gift from the boutique is the opportunity to make a real and lasting donation to EJGH.
