Fresh, Tasty, and Healthy Cuisine

Most people know good nutrition and physical activity can help maintain a healthy weight. But the benefits of good nutrition go beyond weight. Good nutrition can help reduce the risk of some diseases, including heart disease, diabetes, stroke, some cancers, and osteoporosis. Good nutrition can also help you recover quicker, and that’s why we are here.

Inpatient meal service

Registered dietitians prescribe our patients’ diets to promote recovery from surgery or illness. Because certain foods may interact with medications or treatments, patients are discouraged from eating food from home or vending machines without physician approval.

A nutrition assistant visits patients to review menus and obtain food preferences. Every effort is made to accommodate patients’ preferences within their prescribed diets. Patients may call 504.503.4075 for questions or concerns about their diets.
