Marcy Naquin, Morning Lead (AM)

Marcy has been in the fitness industry for over 20 years and has loved every minute of it! A majority of that time she spent teaching group fitness; she enjoys the interaction with her clients in class. Her education, along with her first-hand experience of growing up over weight, has given her a genuine outlook towards everyone she works with. Here at the Wellness Center, she enjoys group fitness, meeting and helping members, performing fitness orientations and helping out with health screens with Corporate Wellness. She feels, "If you are looking to be fit and healthy... knowledge is power!"

Marcy graduated from the Southeastern Louisiana University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Fitness and Human Performance. Her certifications consist of AFAA (group fitness), AEA (Aquatics), and RPM. She considers working at the Wellness Center a rewarding experience; especially having the opportunity to work with the disease management classes. "The human body is a wonderful machine that we can manipulate, maintain and improve with a little movement and a whole lot of fun!" This is not a job for Marcy, but a passion... for everyone to LIVE WELL and to enjoy the process. She believes self-acceptance is the first step to success!
