Have you been told you have Prediabetes or borderline high blood sugar?
Did you know that simply changing eating and exercise habits can help prevent or significantly reduce the risk for developing Type 2 Diabetes? A team of nurses, registered dietitians and exercise physiologists have developed a 4-week program to get you started on a path to better health.
• Week 1 – Tuesday, March 12th: What is Pre-diabetes?
• Week 2 – Tuesday, March 19th: Eating Right to Prevent Type 2
• Week 3 – Tuesday, March 26th: Being Physically Active
• Week 4 – Tuesday, April 2nd: Maintaining Your Progress
All sessions are 1-hour and start at 4:30 p.m. Weeks 1 and 2 will be held in the EJGH Conference Center, Esplanade 3 room. Weeks 3 and 4 will be held in EJGH Conference Center, Esplanade 2 room.
Cost for program is $69 for EJGH Team Members or EJGH Wellness Center Members. $89 for others. Registration ends February 28th.
