The portion of proceeds will support health programs and services for the community.

On February 2, the new Carrabba’s Italian Grill® in Metairie is opening its doors at 4641 Veterans Boulevard. To celebrate the grand opening, Carrabba’s is partnering with The Foundation at East Jefferson General Hospital with a giveback event that will benefit The Foundation.

Carrabba’s Italian Grill will donate proceeds from opening day sales to benefit The Foundation at East Jefferson General Hospital to provide funding for educational programs, healthcare services, technology, and capital expansion projects. “We are honored to be the beneficiary of Carrabba’s opening night,” said Valerie Englade, Senior Vice President, Community Affairs at East Jefferson General Hospital. “It is through the support of friends like Carrabba’s that make it a pleasure to be part of Metairie. We encourage everyone to come out for a great meal while also benefitting your community hospital.”

The new restaurant, conveniently located near the NW corner of Clearview Parkway and Veterans Boulevard, features a design that mixes traditional and contemporary design inspired by the look and feel of Italy. The 5,500-square-foot location features an open kitchen, a relaxed and casual dining room and bars with family tables, an open kitchen atmosphere, a modern Italian bar, and patio dining.

“We’re excited to be the newest neighbor in Metairie,” said Jon Thomas, Managing Partner of the Metairie Carrabba’s. “We’re looking forward to sharing our Italian hospitality with the community.”

Carrabba’s Italian Grill has hired 120 area residents to join the Carrabba’s team. Carrabba’s will open for lunch at 11 a.m. immediately following a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:45 a.m. with Jefferson Parish President John Young and Jefferson Chamber of Commerce President Todd Murphy.
