Family Medicine Residency

Class of 2021, Family Medicine Resident, Medical School: Tulane School of Medicine Lydia Breskin, MD

Dr. Breskin earned her bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from Carleton College in 2009, her master’s in Physiology from Georgetown University in 2012, and went on to complete her medical degree in 2018 from Tulane University. Before medical school, Dr. Breskin worked in the fields of social work and teaching with medically underserved urban populations, as well as spending a year teaching English in Normandy, France and a year working as a research assistant with the Turner Lab at the University of Chicago. During her medical school years, Dr. Breskin had the opportunity to participate in community outreach projects in the New Orleans area including work at the Westbank Unit of the Boys & Girls Club and in the student run clinics at Tulane.
